Ohio | ABC Evening News tonight (Saturdays edition) apparently did a replay of this story. NO where did the "buyer" ever state that he purchased the guns from a dealer, only that he was able to go in and purchase guns with no questions asked.
Could he have bought these guns from private individuals who walk around looking for buyers? Private sellers are not required to ask any questions. Another thing that leads me to believe this was the case was that the buyer said "all I needed was cash to purchase these guns". Dealers will take other forms of payment besides cash, private sellers wouldnt have that option.
