You mentioned a $40 Android tablet as a potential to use to view the Larsen wifi Camera.

The other day I saw a $40 - 9" tablet at Wal-Mart that I thought might work. I asked if I could attempt to load the Cam Hi app before purchase. They said No, I would have to buy it, take it home, try it and if it didn't work I could return it within 30 days. They had several tablets on display but none of them were "ON". I asked if they could at least turn on the model I had interest in. The lady said No, due to Covid-19 they wanted to discourage people touching the display models. I said OK, I'll just buy the one of interest and likely return it. She looked and they did not have any more in stock beside the display model. My thought was to buy a cheaper small tablet and just use it with the cameras. .

Do you happen to remember a name or brand or have any links to it online?

Thinking maybe a7"- 9" monitor would be nicer than small phone screen.

I know nothing about tablets other than I prefer Android over Apple operating systems. So what do I need to look for?

1) needs to be able to charge from lighter socket which is close by.

2) needs to be able to download Cam Hi app from Google Play store.

3) needs wifi connection to get wireless signal from camera.

4) needs to be able to mount on 1" ram ball mount with larger X grip holder

5) needs a hard case /screen protection to seal out dusty conditions. (Older combine so not a pristine dust free environment)

Don't anticipate it needing to be used for a lot. Mostly camera monitor maybe display a picture or 2 maybe some quick field notes, calculator function, a few word or excel files with info for reference.

So what constitutes a bare bones = cheaper option to accomplish these things that will fit a larger X RAM mount like this ?

I did come across this 7" Lenova on Amazon which can be fitted with screen protector and silicone protective cover.

Also a 8" version

Edit: Fix Amazon Links
