Nope not cheap I just chose to be smart and make the money go a little farther and do more upgrades while still having the option of some firming in worked or dry soil too.

Pretty easy to dump a lot of money per row in attachments so it makes more sense at least for "me" "here" to ease into things.

Upgrades for 2009

Bullseye seed tubes, cupped seed belts,new style wrap around mount Keetons, RID tires, gauge wheel bearings, single 15" spader's,drag chain kit, new closing wheel brackets/bushings, upgraded to Kinze insecticide bander's, new RK gauge wheel pivot repairs and new no till coulters.

 If all works well only upgrade needed for 10 will be different fertilizer openers.
