Rivers, MB | You could also cross the Red River at Morris. I think that road will be open for another few days. Then you could continue on #23 up to Hwy 59. Head south on #59 down into the US.
You might also be able to cross at Aubigny, east of Rosenort.
MBRET's would work as well. I suspect though that you will have trouble getting to #75 along #14 East of Winkler.
Don't try and take the TransCanada East of Portage through Winnipeg. The bridge across the Red River on the south perimeter is down to 1 lane in either direction due to bridge construction. The dividers are nice big thick concrete blocks that would take out a few shanks etc.!!!
Check the MB highways report before trying any of the above routes though.
