Subject: Re: Planting sunflower with INT 54 plateless

I am a seed dealer, and this is what is recommended for Sunf. oilseeds in the IH planter, Size 2 seed. Plate C020-24, Yellow, Filler ring, CFR-3, Size 3, C030-24, Red. Filler CFR-3. Size 3+ C035-24, orange, this is a smaller size 3, Ring CFR-3, Size 4, C040-24, Blue, Filler, CFR-3, CFR-40.
Recommended, planting rate would be 21,000 - 23,000. in 30" rows, the distance between seeds should be 9.5 inches.
The only source for plates is Lincoln, cost is $12.50 ? per plate. Your seed dealer should have all this info.
