Western Nebraska
Ya, we survived. If we would have had measurable snow, it would have been a disaster. Wind was supposed to let down about 4, but I woke up at 12:30 and wind was only about 25 or so, so I went out and started digging neighborhood out. Got to the cattle first, and started getting cocky, ended up walking crosscountry about 3 miles at 4 am. Cattle have nice windbreak on both East and West sides, wind came directly out of North. Not good. Will have many frozen ears.
Can't imagine blizzard of '49.

West Ne.
