You're on the right track, Jim, but the Velcro doesn't cut the mustard when you are working on equipment all day. Been there, done that, lost the phone to prove it. Two bad things about the last oneI have lost: First, it was in a case which was only a couple days old. Second, the day after I bought said case, I had seen a real case at a Petro truckstop and thought "I wish I'd seen that before I got this one" I've got the one from Petro now....it has a snap instead of velcro. It has a metal belt clip. I carry it on the waist of my jeans and it stays there, because the clip turns back 900 on itself so that it grips. It has a metal mic clip on the case which fits in the belt clip. The phone has to be turned 1800 to remove from the mic clip. $20 for the good case. $8 for the cheap case. $59 for the replacement phone |
