Boone, Iowa | The TS programmers may work well in diesel pickups, but I have never been impressed with them for farm tractor applications. Some of these "programmers" raise the fuel rail pressure and will throw the warning light on, when it gets higher than the range of the factory tolerances. The Steinbauer programmers, while more expensive, go about it a different way. They increase the injector pulse width, which keeps the injector open longer. This does not raise the rail pressure and turn on the warning light. | |
