Subject: red ball or wilger flow indictor for pop up & check valve

I am currently running a Wilger flow indicator similar to red ball unit on my planter for pop up 5-7 gals to a keeton seed firmer.  2 rows per 1 column.  would like to go to 1 column per row with a check valve.  Have never had much luck with looping the tubing.  I think I now have a 1/2" line to a Tee then to the keetons.

Looks like the smallest hose shank from the flow incicators is 3/8".  The keetons are 1/4" I believe. Would also like to add a check valve.

How would a push-in check valve fitting work?

How are some of you doing what I want too?

Thanks
