Mid-East Nebraska

Turning View is interrupted on the GS2 display by “All Rows Failed” warning while turning on ends. Not enough time is allowed for turns before the “All Rows Failed” warning interrupts Turning View.

When using Straight Track application, Turning View will be active once the tractor is turned 45 degrees off of your last pass and will suppress the “All Rows Failed” warning for a maximum of 22 seconds. At the end of this 22 second time frame an “All Rows Failed” warning will appear on the GS2 display if the tractor has not turned 180 degrees and the implement is lowered and planting/seeding. If the operator has turned 180 degrees within the 22 second time frame Turning View will become inactive once the tractor is 13 degrees from the next pass. At that time the operator has 3 seconds to be lined up, lower the implement, and start planting/seeding.

Once Turning View is active, the tractor must be turned around, lined up, and be planting/seeding within 22 seconds. If this occurs in less than 22 seconds, as soon as Turning View disappears from the display there is a total of 3 seconds to get lined up, get the implement lowered, and be planting/seeding. If this is not enough time in certain applications it is possible to install/utilize dual Greenstar displays in order to eliminate the Turning View interruption.
