Matt, I'd have to reference the book, but I remember something about being able to disarm the alarm message for 24 some seconds (conceivably while you're on the headland) so you don't have to listen to it. I have not had the chance to see ours in action (18 degrees this morning!) but I've got the home pages set up. Looks nice and 1 less monitor.
