Subject: Flat face hydraulic couplers for tractor, why not?

After dropping and then hooking back up to the grapple bucket for the skid loader during the snow today and reading the post below about ISO conversion for tractors, I had a revalation.

Why are flat faced couplers not used on tractors? The couplers on the grapple bucket are flat face. They are very easy to hook and unhook. They stay clean. They don't leak. And they don't drip oil all over the place after you unhook them. So why are the not used on tractors?
