NW Kansas | We rebuilt our JD planter last year and ran into problems right away as there was almost no adjustment left to tighten the guage wheel to the tru vee. Like you, after few acres there was no adjustment to do. The dealer could not figure it out for a long time, tried different arms, different threads, finally, discovered the bearing was set wrongin the guage wheels and thus using up all the adjustment right away. once discovered they replaced all the guage wheels with no charge. | |
