Subject: RE: Narrow row planter idea, help appreciated

southern MN
I got a 15 row, 15 inch bean planter a few years ago - 3pt bar with IHC 295 units on it.

Went to get it from the auction with my Ford 7700, and it _barely_ lifted it up with the markers & a couple boxes taken off. Yikes that was a long drive home! Wouldn't ever manage with any seed in it.

My TW-20 picks it up just fine, works very well.

Don't know much about dealing with the JD part - I think it is real hard to make the JD boxes sit that close to each other????
