Manitoba | I really like my 08 crew cab Silverado so far. The mpg is not that impressive but maybe thats because you can watch it constantly on the dash. But whats with the goofy tow loops on the the front. Didnt even notice they were loops till I brought it home. What a pain, now if you want to use a tow strap or rope with a loop at the end you need a clevice or some other potential projectile. I noticed the same thing on a friends ford. Are companies going cheap here again. Becasue its a loop it doesnt have to be quite as strong. I havent looked to closely yet but I wonder if the frame there is strong enough to bolt on a hook. | |
