Its entirely possible the the previous owner has the wheels in the center section set one( or two ) hole lower ( thus raising the center section relative to the wings) then they would normally be set. Not sure how your planter is set up but on ours, lowered the center wheels a bit to help carry the weight better. Fully loaded with dry and liquid fert our 12x30 would tend to 'sink' more in the center then out at the wings when planting in really mellow ground.
