Wheatley, Arkansas | You shouldn't have any problems, I don't understand why everyone is so scared of a diesel engine's capability to move a load, with any gear ratio or tranny. Heck, a few years back a 290 Cummins with 1250 torque was a big rig. Any semi truck out there today with an electronic engine will out perform the old DDA 238's of the 70's and they ran coast to coast with them, yea even over the Rockies.
Now every one thinks they need 500 +hp and 1850 torque to haul a load of grain a few miles to the elevator. | |
