As others have mentioned NEVER respond to their email. ALWAYS through ebay. ALWAYS hide your email on first contacts. If it request email directly to them its ALWAYS a scam IMO. There is no reason for them to not recieve email through ebay. No matter where it is ask for a verifable addy so you/a buddy/ anybody can see the merchandise for you. My experience with ATV"s UTV's and the likes if you don't get the bid you will be contacted that winner didn't pay so its offered to you at your last bid-----even if its had 10 bids above yours. I tell them I'll drive to pick it up and never a response. I wouldn't swear off ebay but be very cautious!! If it smells a little steer clear!
