Last night I did google for info.  I was surprised most that I found talked about batteries, inverters, etc.  I was hoping for something like a windmill and sell electric back to coop.  Maybe most mini-hydro systems don't produce enough electric.  I have a pretty big spring behind the house that had a ram pump on it.  I would like to get it running again but I never gave generating electric a thought.  Interesting.

I need to measure the fall and amount of water it produces to see if it makes sense.  Are there grants to help pay for something like this?
