Subject: Mico Brake Locks

NE ND
Does anyone use these on their farm trucks? I have a chevy gas tag axle tandem I use to fill my air drill with fertilizer. The factory parking brake leaves a lot to be desired. I would like to install a Mico brake lock but have heard people say they can get "locked up" and won't release when they shut them off. Is this true? Mico's own instructions say to crack a bleeder if this happens. Like I really want to do that in the middle of some field with the wind blowing. I would install the 12V style with the dash switch. Thoughts?
