Parsons Kansas | Bought some low bay HID lights off E-bay the other day. They are 400W metal halide with a 16" refractor on the bottom. I'm going to mount them 12' off the floor. The shop size is a 40x60. My question is how far from the side off the shop and how far apart should they be placed?They will be wired up for 110v. You guys help would save me alot of trial and error.
I know some on here don't like these lights and that's OK. I got a very good deal on them. I know they are going to be outdated but if I pick up a few ballests and bulbs along the way and put them on the shelf I should be fine. You guys have told me that there are alot more efficiant lights ou there and that's fine. I'm not in the shop 27hrs a day so like I said these will work fine for me. Thanks for the help Darren. | |
