Just a general opinion. I think that all no-till disc opener drills will hairpin if the conditions are right, and heavy damp cereal stubble and straw and soft soil is one of those situations. K-Hart openers have the opener disc offset 3/4" so it will cut much like a single disc opener and better than a plain double disc openers like those used on old grain drills. With double disc openers seed row soil blow out can also be a problem. Soil tends to stick to the out side of the opener and gets tossed between the seed rows and does not make it back behind the opener.

Also, I believe that K-Hart just sells the openers, you have to mount the openers on a bar and get seed too them.
