Subject: 8430 questions

southeast indiana

i just bought an 8430 deere 4wd(old junky one not the new one)it has motor troubles is it worth fixing?i bought it right.what are the weak points?what is the horsepower stock?how much can it reliably handle ?i thought it would be nice on a grain cart and an inline ripper.thanks kevin
