One thing you might wanna consider is having a person on the yard running pumps and watching things.
We use three guys almost 99% of the time. One on the yard, one running around with the RTV watching the hose and running the hose hussler, and the the operator himself. Two main reasons we did it. First would be time. It takes alot less time then a tank or even two. There were 4 tanks running down the road from us this fall. We set up about the same time and pulled out at least an hour earlier. That was set up and taking down.
And compaction.
We use most of our mile of hose everywhere. It usually takes the three of us about 1 1/2 to set up and hour to tear down. It does take longer then setting up a tanker, but it is faster. We don't leave any thing uncovered other then the very corner. It takes some practice for sure. When we pull up to the end we ran over the last past other then the 30 feet (applicator width)needed to turn around. It does require turning with the toolbar in the ground a little bit. This allows us to pull toward the ditch and turn around without catching the hose. With the double swivel and turning like that, we don't back up to turn other then the first or second time. There is minimal stretch on the hose for turning.
The guys on here have some good advice. They have some good pictures. Good luck with you planning
