NW VA | We use a drag hose on a relatively small scale, up to several thousand feet of aluminum 6" pipe with 1000 ft. or so of soft hose on the end. Have a homemade 3 pt. discharge spoon made from an old disk blade, works real well. With the soft hose care has to be taken not to drag it to hard sideways that it gets twisted, shouldn't be an issue with a hard hose. After setup, it gets alot of liquid moved for a one man operation.
