| I ran a 6/11 behind a John Deere 4010 for 4 years . The negative tongue weight never seemed to be a big issue. The planter pushed the tractor a little in the turns but if I took my time it worked pretty good.
I thought the 7240 was built heavy and did a real good job.
I had finger pickup units and they worked fine but the vacuum planter is probably more accurate.
The worst thing about the planter with a small tractor was if you hit a wet spot you had no other option but to grind your way through because if you lifted the planter up those two big tires would drag you to a stop.
