Aberdeen MS | It was heavily undercoated before we took delivery. Almost a requirement around here to make anything last a while.
The problem with the rocker panel and cab corners arose from not having any running boards or mud flaps on the front for the first years. Only reason they went on later was Mom drove the PU pulling a gravity wagon way back when as the second unit for harvest. She had rhumetoid arthritis and had a hard time getting in an out without them.
The constant gravel road driving "sand blasted" the undercoasting off in that area and the "ole man" didn't believe in washing any farm equipment.
Those areas are now re undercoated, and as soon as paint is on, new running boards and front flaps should keep it in good shape. | |
