Subject: Re: John Deere DN345 spreader....

Northeast Nebraska and Candelaria Philippines
We got a heck of a nice 1994 Loral chassis with a 4 year old new leader 2020g4 for $24,000. As fast as we spread, I don't see how a tractor and spreader could even come close. We go up to 20-25 mph while spreading. It does take quite a bit of power accelerating after turning. Now, I'm not saying that DN345 isn't a nice machine. I'm just saying for our situation, there is no way to justify a 80-100k spreader when you could have a almost new floater for the same.
