Galahad, Alberta | Yes, as Jon pointed out above, he gave me some invaluable advice on the tranny linkage for my brother's CR 1280 with the AC tranny. If I remember right, there is an external linkage on the opposite side of the tranny from where the clutch cable attaches. You need to be about 3' high with 5' arms to adjust it easily, but a smaller guy can weasel in there and tweek it until it works like new. My brothers' were scared to tear into the tranny and pour $18,000 into a tractor worth only $35,000. Jon's advice ended costing my brother a half dozen beer one evening for the mechanic/neighbour to set the linkage up!
