You can more than likely thank the EPA for your distress. We are seeing the same thing with JD 8870's VS JD 9320's, same work, 40% more fuel consumption .The 6430 has a lot more pollution control features than your 4030 did, and the fuel you get today isn't nearly as potent as the fuel from a year or so back. This is just one of the side effects of a cleaner, greener society. Look for more in the future.
