My mother used to say, "plan ahead and you will plan twice."
Now I have a wife who has our life planned out months in advance. My daughter-in-law is even worse, which takes us to another saying, "men marry their mothers," which has an element of truth.
"Fortuity" is rarely used word, at least in my world.
