I also do VRT, lime, P and N.
I make use of a 3 hopper bin, one for seed, one for straight P (VRT) and one for Urea (VRT).
I VRT N on the basis of carbon % from management zones. I believe this metod is the best way of VRT N.
Depending on crop and rotation, I make 2% carbon content the basis, and then give more N on less carbon, and less N on more carbon content.
