With that many hrs and that the starter has never been off, Id agree that the brushes are pry bad, Id take it in and have the starter rebuilt somewhere. We had this same issue on a 4030 a couple yrs ago, new batteries, tried new cables and ended up being the starter, it realy spins over now and starts real well even in very cold temps.
