Yorktown, TX | I have a '96 Dodge and it did the same thing this past summer when I was pulling a loaded gooseneck over a terrace. When the truck flexed, it cracked. I have also seen the dashes on the year models you mentioned. The local body shop installs aftermarket "tops" They just install the top part of the dash and it looks really good. My '96 still has the crack, and I'm going to wait till it gets worse to do anything about it, but my friends that have had the top of the dash replaced with the aftermarket materials seem to like them and they look like the original. If I remember right they are not too expensive. Somewhere around $200. | |
