More FC's used in this area now days too . Finishers were real popular during 80's and 90's , every one had to have one . We got talked into a Landoll-Tilloll , what a piece of junk !! . Couldn't get it to level good enough , couldn't get it to do anything good enough . Went back to a DMI Tigermate II . Good cultivator , pulled a McFarlane harrow behind it . One pass on disk ripped stalks and plant . Later on traded it for a Sunflower 5054 40' cultivator with five bar mounted spike harrow .
Probably half of the corn here is planted behind one pass of a FC like we are doing .
