| Join the club Chris. 8N was the first tractor I drove.
Dad would turn me loose with it in 2nd gear to bring the milk cows in. I would steer, run the throttle, and shut the switch off when I was done. Raked hay using that method until I got tall enough to run the clutch and shift gears myself.
First field work was with a Case DC. In my teens I got to run a couple 20 series Deeres which seemed light years ahead of the 8N and DC size and convenience wise.
Ran my uncle's 4020 PS disking and another neighbor's 2510 diesel synchro stacking loose hay for the first time. | |
