I don't know who said anything about new or innovation. I assume you've seen the Shur-Cos openers now too?

Yes, ShurCo still uses the Roll-Rite motors for their tarps. We installed another a couple weeks ago.

Skylane suggested an extra motor for his openers (Roll-Rite), I agree, even on tarp. We had a motor go out on us 2 yrs ago. It just burned up. The circuit breaker never opened. It took a few days for the ShurCo distributor (IL) to get one to us. It was warrantied, but you're still somewhat hindered without the motor. So, we bought a spare. I believe the Roll-Rite motors are from the Warn winches...would that be right?
