I guess we don't use them because we're too lazy. We shut the doors from the top of the air seeder while we're trying to stuff the tanks full, open them from the other side of the truck as we're starting the auger, shut them from the top of the grain bin when it's full, etc. We also have a couple of older guys that help us during harvest that appreciate them. Elevator guys will have them open and dumping before you even get out of the cab. Seems like in a year like this last one every second during harvest counts.

As for the electric tarps, we don't have them but I can sure see where they have merrit. They'll take a lot of wind with no problems. We're getting tired of having to find a tree claim so we can close our tarps especially during soybean harvest before heading to town with a load.
