Other changing out the chopper tailboard to some type of a "power spread", you shouldn't need to do alot of other mods, if you just forget trying to use a standard platform, and go to a MacDon draper head instead. This will help if you have a non-contour master machine, plus the draper is going to feed the machine in a much more steady fashion.
