I wouldn't be afraid to run the cylinder a little faster. I am running about 480 (or was before the rain came) and there wasn't much damage to the soybeans.

I actually would rather be able to hear a little something going on when combining. I don't know if a 9510 is quieter than a 9500 but I am happy that I can at least get a feel for what is going on from the sounds of the combine. My 9500 is way quieter than my 8820 was, and I did not mind the noise in that one either.
