I've been using a regular house sump pump for several years. 


Really! That's good idea. My brain spinning. Okay so keep it in a empty 5-gallon bucket run the hose and cord out through the hole in the now loosen plastic lid on the bucket you can keep it in there to keep it clean and collect oil drains out or even just dumped small containers of used oil in there. Transfer the pump to the bigger drain container for the big jobs. No screens to clean like some of the others and oh my I like your idea thank you very much. Thank you!
Never thought about one of those being able to stand petroleum products
