Brazilton KS | That is what I did on one machine. Far as I'm concerned that's the answer....the TurboII plus the truck muffler is about the same price as the Deere muffler and far less then the Cat one.....but I have to put up with several people here who for some reason think the world will come to an end if the Donaldson precleaner is removed and the overpriced muffler is replaced by one from a truck shop. "Too much backpressure" is the more ridiculous claim, at least I'd say it's not too logical since the muffler is used on the same engine in trucks, and in the next size bigger, and at hp ratings up to almost twice what the tractors are running at.
