Hagen Brothers farms,Goodrich ND | This summer I replaced the "muffler" on my old 84 Steiger Panther with 855 Cummins,I believe it is 5 inch for $200 at my CIH dealer. This thing is a about 3-4 ft pipe with a section crushed down to form kind of a three lobed venturi with the aspirator pipe through the side and up into the venturi. The thing does not muffle much sound,but the venturi works good and the thing takes up very little space if it is in your line of sight.
Does anyone make a separate aspirator venturi that adds to the top of a std muffler like the old M&W pre cleaner/ aspirator kits ? Maybe a google search for precleaner/aspirator might turn up something. |
