| I have a F250 that I use around the farm that has a 3 speed automatic tranny. Has anyone ever put in a 4 speed with o/d? I would think this beast would get some respectable economy from the 460 engine if it had a 4 speed, but would my ability to pull be lost? It has 3.55 rear end ratio, I am guessing that is the reasoning for the 3 speed. Just got to thinking about it over the weekend planting wheat.
Possibly the most dangerous time of the year for all farmers. Too many things to think about, combined with the relative isolation of the tractor for long amounts of time. This equal a lot of hair brained ideas and thoughts of ridicoulus theory.
