If the price is right I wouldn't be afraid of it. The red ones are a better design. If it is an orange one make sure it gets a good coat of Slip Plate paint before it is used. The orange ones don't flow as well but if the grain is dry and there is Slip Plate in it, it will work ok. We have several of them and have held up well. The boys that make them do't have much else to do.
