Beresford SD | I bought one new about 15 years ago, put it on a used Electric 12T gear. Some of the frame welds on the box cracked, looked like effect of sudden stops. I had a talk with some of the drivers, problem turned out to be unloading up town at elevator, the man at the pit would signal stop when the 2nd wagon was positioned and the driver would stand on the brake. I added some diagonal braces and welded up the cracks, haven't had to fix on it for many years now. Mine is red, been a good wagon, survived two upsets when empty - high wind blew it off the gear, added extra chain since. | |
