Yes I use to do that with rotary hoe and cultivators through narrow doors and still do for storage. You can see in this picture they are quite a bit longer sitting where they are than the opening they must go through to get there.

However, where I store the combine is a lean to that is barely long enough and wide enough to pull straight in. There is no extra room to swing anything. Lean to was built in 78 for a much smaller machine.  

One of the many challenges of dealing with older buildings that were not designed for todays machines.
