yes it does work, however it might display 3D for you receiver w/ no diff correction. I have seen this w/ an original GS system/harvest DOC./raven receiver. I went to setup/harvst DOC/page 2 & it will show the receiver status & # of sat. locked.

Good luck, If you don't have a signal it will NOT allow you to record. The icon to turn recording (on/off) will not be there.
