| Too bad no one has figured out a way to be able to average things out.
What's a rotary pit? I'm guessing it's something to do with drillling?
Back in the days when half of Oklahoma was up here trying to drill for oil the outfit on our property got too close to their sludge pit and one side of a 955 slid in, slop was up on the brake when he stopped. Didn't have anything to dig him out, put two tow ropes on sideways uooked to his bucket which he raised up to give us some leverage then we put a third big rope on our 4wd and pulled . Took about 5 or 6 hits and it started to move, had a lot of strain on things before it came out.
Charlie has been working on that big pond on the place where the other fellow took off now for a week. Think he's about done, told me last night when we talked that he was in the process of dressing up the dam. Picked up another big clean up job for the winter, estimates he's got 3 months work on the books for winter right now. | |
