A friend has a DVD with promotional information about some European equipment on it which I have borrowed. He warned me that he had trouble viewing it...said the only thing he could view it with was their kid's cheapo DVD player from the car. Their "good" equipment wouldn't recognize it. I also cannot view it with our DVD player. I do not have DVD on the computer. I took it to the farm and found that I also cannot play it on any of the DVD players there, but my sister's Mac will play it fine. My question: Is there some different format used in Europe which many US DVD players do not support? Is there any way to burn the video to a DVD in a compatible form since the Mac seems to be able to read it? thanks |
